This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and bonuses, and a full benefits package including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan. As a Workers' Compensation Paralegal, your role will be crucial in supporting the supervising attorney(s) and enhancing their effectiveness. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including maintaining files, conducting legal research, drafting documents, and communicating with clients and other parties involved in the cases. To be successful in this position, you must be self-motivated and able to meet deadlines under pressure. You should also have the ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint is required, as well as knowledge of e-filing, legal documents and terminology, billing, and investigating the facts of a case. Additionally, you should have experience with conducting research on relevant laws, regulations and articles, organizing and maintaining documents, and writing reports to help attorneys prepare for trial. The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor's degree, Associates' degree, or certificate degree in paralegal studies, as well as 1-2 years of experience as a paralegal.
