Dinsmore, a leading law firm with over 725 lawyers in 32 offices nationwide, is seeking a talented Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team in San Diego, CA or work remotely from Seattle, WA. As a member of our dynamic and growing firm, you will have the opportunity to support multiple attorneys and paralegals in the exciting and challenging field of Intellectual Property and Patent Prosecution.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and electronically file patent applications, amendments, appeals, assignments and other documents related to prosecution
- Manage dockets, communicate with clients, handle billing, and assist with formatting, proofreading, and editing legal documents and reports
- Utilize legal software, including electronic document management systems, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and editing
- Familiarity with basic online resources to support research and document preparation
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Work collaboratively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision
- Utilize 3-5 years of experience supporting multiple attorneys/paralegals and prior experience in patent prosecution and transactional work
- Knowledge of . Patent and Trademark Office, including PAIR and EFS, and understanding of domestic and foreign procurement process for patents and trademarks
- Ability to review and communicate docket to attorneys/paralegals and provide effective reports to multiple professionals

Salary: Up to $90,000

Requirements:

- Excellent writing, grammar, and proofreading skills
- Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, editing software, and related legal software
- Familiarity with basic online resources
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proven ability to work well in a team and independently
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- 3-5 years of experience supporting multiple attorneys/paralegals
- Experience in patent prosecution and transactional work
- Knowledge of . Patent and Trademark Office, including PAIR and EFS
- Understanding of domestic and foreign procurement process for patents and trademarks
