As a Sr. Associate, you will have the opportunity to second chair on cases and work alongside top-notch litigators in the employment law field. This role also offers the chance to mentor and supervise junior associates, paralegals, and support staff, providing valuable guidance and fostering professional development.

Responsibilities include conducting legal research and analysis, communicating with clients, drafting legal documents, managing caseloads, preparing and conducting depositions, representing clients in court, and providing mentorship to team members. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of litigation or clerkship experience, strong writing and research skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to advocating for those who have been deprived of their legal rights in the workplace.

Salary Range: $120, to $160, annually

Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support cases
- Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates, and answer legal questions
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and complaints
- Manage caseloads and maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines
- Prepare and conduct depositions, gather evidence, and manage the discovery process
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials and settlement conferences
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior associates, paralegals, and support staff
- Advocate for the civil rights of workers who have experienced discrimination

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of litigation or clerkship experience
- Strong legal writing, research, and analysis skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach to work
- Admitted to the New York Bar
