Summary:

Hartline Barger LLP, a Texas-based law firm, is seeking an experienced paralegal to join their busy personal injury defense team in their Dallas office. The ideal candidate will have a background in personal injury and catastrophic losses defense, as well as strong research and writing skills. This position requires heavy discovery work and file management, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain, review, and analyze relevant documents and information for cases.
• Conduct research and analysis on case issues and parties involved.
• Perform social media and background searches.
• Draft and coordinate written discovery and document production.
• Compile evidence and supporting information.
• Track all discovery and pleadings deadlines.
• Correspond with clients and opposing law firms.
• Communicate with experts and coordinate inspections.
• Coordinate with support services, clients, opposing law firms, and courts.
• Generate status reports, logs, and indices.
• Assist with trial preparation and attendance.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in catastrophic personal injury/wrongful death defense.
• .
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a high-volume office and team environment.

Salary and Benefits:
