Law Firm (Morrison & Foerster LLP), an Am Law 50 law firm with 17 offices worldwide, is seeking an Entry-Level Paralegal for their Washington, . office. This is an exciting opportunity to join MoFo's premier Appellate practice and gain valuable experience in the legal field.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with preparing and filing briefs and appendices before the Supreme Court of the United States and various federal and state appellate courts.
- Review trial court files and prepare index of documents and materials that constitute the record on appeal.
- Cite-check all authorities cited in appellate briefs.
- Maintain calendar of deadlines for all live appeals.
- Draft preliminary appellate case opening filings, non-substantive motions, certificates of service and compliance.
- Assist with data collection and data visualization efforts for both appellate blogs.
- Arrange for visual aids, models, or other record documents for use in oral argument.
- Develop and maintain reference library for administrative information and court rules.

- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet business and client needs required.

Salary Information:

The salary range for this position in Washington, . is $42K to $62K, based on factors such as local market data, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, overtime as applicable, health/welfare benefits, retirement contributions, paid holidays, and PTO.
