Job Description: As an Investigation Specialist I, you will be responsible for conducting investigations into discrimination cases within the state of Florida. This includes gathering and recording accurate information through interviews and correspondence, conducting research, and writing detailed investigative reports within statutory timeframes. You will also be required to testify and appear before Commission panels and in court proceedings regarding your findings and recommendations. Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must have a bachelor's degree and at least one year of experience in legal or paralegal work, investigative work, human relations, human resources, or a related field. Alternatively, experience in these areas can be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the college education requirement. You should also have experience conducting fact-finding interviews, writing detailed reports, and analyzing large amounts of documentation.
