Probate Litigation Paralegal Job Description and Salary Information:

Duties:

- Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation from case inception through resolution or trial
- Prepare court filings and exhibits
- Draft and respond to discovery demands
- Support depositions, hearings, and mediations
- Review and summarize depositions and medical records
- Maintain case dockets and calendars
- Coordinate electronic discovery
- Prepare probate pleadings, tax returns, accountings, and funding calculations
- Manage trust administration, probate, and conservatorships
- Draft initial versions of legal documents
- File court documents and handle e-filing
- Coordinate court appearances and organize case files
- Act as a liaison with clients, other law firms, and court clerks

- Technical proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Experience and Education Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
- Paralegal Certificate from an ABA approved school highly desired
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in estate planning, probate, guardianship, and trust matters
- Understanding and application of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Evidence
- Comprehensive knowledge of the litigation lifecycle
- Trial experience preferred
