Are you a qualified attorney with a passion for labor and employment law? Do you have experience with affirmative action compliance and OFCCP regulations? If so, consider joining our expanding affirmative action and OFCCP compliance practice at Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms in the country.

We are currently seeking an AAP Compliance Counsel to join our team in Birmingham, Alabama. In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure compliance with related laws and regulations, as well as supervise non-attorney analysts in the preparation of affirmative action programs and reports for federal contractors. This is a flexible part-time position with the potential for full-time employment and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with affirmative action laws and regulations
- Supervise non-attorney analysts in preparing AAPs and reports for federal contractors
- Provide labor and employment advice and counsel to clients
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Utilize technology and Excel proficiency to enhance work efficiency

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree and active license to practice law in good standing in the state of employment
- Minimum of 2 years of labor and employment advice and counsel or litigation experience
- Prior experience with preparing AAPs and knowledge of federal contractor affirmative action compliance obligations strongly preferred
- Strong academic credentials and superior analytical and writing skills
- Attention to detail and technology oriented
- Ability to work on a team with co-workers and staff in different offices
- Proficiency in Excel and knowledge of statistical concepts preferred

Salary and Benefits:
- Salary range between $110,000 and $162,500, depending on location and experience
- No billable hour requirement
- Benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and more
