Job Description

As a Paralegal Assistant at Perkins Coie, you will work on a variety of projects under the supervision of paralegals and attorneys. Your responsibilities will include maintaining corporate records, conducting research, drafting documents, and assisting with closings on venture capital financing and merger and acquisition transactions. You will also have the opportunity to work with clients directly and must maintain confidentiality at all times.

Essential Functions

- Assist with maintaining corporate records
- Conduct "blue sky" research and state and federal filings
- Draft miscellaneous transaction documents
- Assist with due diligence production and/or review
- Maintain positive contact with clients and observe confidentiality
- Conduct basic internet research
- Keep accurate time records
- Prepare material for distribution
- Obtain factual information from clients and third parties
- Keep track of deadlines
- Perform computer database input and retrieval
- Be present during scheduled working hours and as needed in the job position

Education and Experience

- 4-year degree required
- 1-plus years of experience as a corporate paralegal
- Law firm experience preferred
- Fluent in Spanish, written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Adobe, Excel, and Google Docs

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position will depend on qualifications and experience and may vary by location. Our benefits package includes an annual discretionary bonus, 401(k) plan, medical, dental, and vision insurance, accrued paid time off, personal medical and parental leave, up to ten paid holidays, and family care benefits. Locations and Compensation Range

This position may be filled in multiple locations, with compensation ranging from $46,610 to $80,270 annually depending on qualifications and experience. The locations include:
