This position will involve providing client services and outreach in the Criminal Defense Practice, with a focus on criminal law and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a paralegal certificate from an ABA accredited school, a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or satisfactory completion of a comprehensive in-house training course appropriate to the practice area. Excellent writing, verbal, and organizational skills are required, as well as proficiency in legal research and computer skills. The ability to work independently and in a team setting, as well as multi-task, is essential. Some knowledge of New York criminal law and procedures is preferred, and proficiency in languages other than English is desirable but not required.
