Responsibilities:
- Review, interpret, and summarize conflict report results
- Analyze and resolve potential legal and business conflicts
- Implement information barriers and ensure proper notification to affected personnel
- Draft email waivers and conflict waiver letters
- Maintain conflict information in the financial database
- Review new business intake forms and identify conflicts
- Conduct corporate research and communicate with all levels of personnel to ensure accurate conflict clearance
- Perform corporate research on all parties involved in new business requests
- Maintain internal conflicts database and ensure proper documentation of legal and business conflicts

Requirements:
- High school diploma
- 4 years of direct experience in conflicts or new business intake department within a law firm or 3 years of paralegal or similar experience
- Experience writing and communicating in a business environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to apply critical thinking and adapt to changes in procedures
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work 9:30am – 5:00pm PT or 11:30am – 7:00pm ET

Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate
- Experience with intake and conflicts software

Role Summary:
As a Conflicts Analyst, you will play a critical role in our risk management function by resolving potential conflicts of interest. You will work closely with partners and Professional Responsibility Counsel to assist in bringing in new business to the firm. This is a remote position, but occasional visits to the local office may be required.

Daily Responsibilities:
- Review and summarize conflict report results
- Analyze and resolve potential legal and business conflicts
- Implement information barriers and ensure proper notification to affected personnel
- Draft formal email waivers and conflict waiver letters
- Maintain conflict information in the financial database
- Conduct corporate research and communicate with all levels of personnel to ensure accurate conflict clearance
- Perform corporate research on all parties involved in new business requests
