Trust, Estate and Tax Paralegal Candidate will be under the direct supervision of an attorney with the firm and will perform substantive legal work and status updates that requires basic knowledge of the law and legal concepts. Will: Conduct research to support legal proceedings. Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents. Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes. Record and store client information. Maintain deadlines and dockets for internal matters and external government agency and court deadlines. Duties related to estate planning, probate and trust administration, tax filings and tax dispute resolution matters.
Qualification and Experience Qualifications: A paralegal certification is preferred. Tax experience is a plus. Previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field. Familiarity with legal research. Ability to prioritize and multitask. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Deadline and detail-oriented. Technology skills. Interpersonal skills. Must possess the ability to recognize, evaluate, organize, analyze, and communicate relevant facts and legal concepts.
