Job Title: Commercial Litigation Associate

Experience: 3+ years

Location: Maryland

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and writing, including drafting briefs, motions, and memoranda
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests
• Draft pleadings and other court documents
• Participate in court proceedings
• Represent clients in depositions and hearings
• Negotiate settlements
• Monitor and analyze legal developments
• Prepare legal reports
• Manage complex litigation matters

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from accredited law school
• Admission to practice in Maryland; . and/or Virginia is a plus
• 3+ years of experience in Commercial Litigation
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bankruptcy law experience is preferred
