This role offers a competitive salary range of $100,000-$115,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. The Senior Paralegal will support litigation lawyers and assist in the management of complex cases, utilizing their knowledge and expertise in case management, legal research and analysis, document management, discovery and investigation, and trial support. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience, with a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved school preferred. Essential Functions: - Case Management: The Senior Paralegal will collaborate with lawyers to manage and organize litigation cases from start to finish, including maintaining and updating case files, coordinating with external parties, and working on cases in various jurisdictions. - Legal Research and Analysis: The successful candidate will conduct thorough legal research using a variety of resources, analyze legal issues and precedents, and present findings to lawyers in a clear and concise manner. - Document Management: The Senior Paralegal will draft, proofread, and edit legal documents, assist with court filings, and organize and maintain electronic document databases. - Discovery and Investigation: This role will involve assisting in the preparation and response to discovery requests, managing document review processes, and conducting investigations. - Trial Support: The Senior Paralegal will provide support to lawyers during trials, including organizing exhibits, preparing witness lists, and utilizing courtroom technology. - Time Recording: The successful candidate will accurately record time spent on tasks in the firm's time entry system.
