Job Title: Legal Assistant - CA Claim & Delivery/SF/LN Mod Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience Location: San Diego, CA (Remote work available) Experience: At least 3 years as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal Purpose: Assisting attorneys in the representation of clients in litigation or bankruptcy proceedings, with a focus on financial institutions. Key Responsibilities: - Perform legal research, analyze information, and prepare reports for attorneys. - Draft legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and motions. - Organize and track case files. - Monitor and handle judgment related tasks for assigned foreclosure caseload. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Thorough knowledge of legal principles, terminology, and government regulations. - Familiarity with multi-state process of service in a judicial environment. - Computer proficiency and experience with legal software. - Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment. - Willingness to adapt to change and take initiative. Experience Requirements: - High school diploma required. - At least 3 years experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal. - Paralegal certificate a plus, but not required.
