Job Title: Mid-Level M&A Associate in the Global Corporate Group at Law Firm in Houston, Texas

Job Description:
The Global Corporate practice group at our law firm is seeking a highly skilled mid-level M&A associate to join our team in Houston. This role requires a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in private M&A transactions, with a preference for candidates with significant experience in handling M&A for Private Equity clients. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage smaller deals independently, while also leading larger deals with direct partner supervision. This position will also involve drafting and negotiating partnership/LLC agreements and other organizational documents.

Salary Information:

Key Responsibilities:
- Handle private M&A transactions, with a focus on Private Equity clients
- Manage smaller deals independently
- Lead larger deals with direct partner supervision
- Draft and negotiate partnership/LLC agreements and other organizational documents
- Participate in primary and secondary fund transactions

Qualifications:
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in private M&A transactions
- Significant experience with Private Equity clients
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Education:
- Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school
- Admission to the State Bar of Texas

Location:
This position is based in our Houston office, with the possibility of occasional travel to our Dallas office.

Experience Information:
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in private M&A transactions
- Experience with Private Equity clients preferred
- Experience with primary and secondary fund transactions a plus
