Job Summary:

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their team in Charlotte, NC. The successful candidate will work closely with talented attorneys, providing support before, during, and after trials.

Responsibilities:

- Request and review medical records
- Assist with discovery and plaintiffs fact sheets
- Coordinate and summarize depositions
- Perform administrative duties
- Draft discovery responses
- Prepare witnesses
- Other tasks as requested by the attorney

Qualifications:

- Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience (preferred)
- 4+ years of litigation experience (required)
- Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program (preferred)
- Experience in Complex Litigation, Personal Injury, Workers Compensation, Premises Liability, or other injury related practice areas (preferred)
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings
- Knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures
- Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer and database skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Type no less than 35 wpm
- Ability to work remotely and support the team
