Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients on environmental law matters.

  • Participate in environmental litigation proceedings, including hearings, trials, and appeals.

  • Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm on multi-disciplinary matters.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of prior work experience in environmental law.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and statutes.
  • Excellent legal writing skills demonstrated through prior work or academic achievements.
  • Superior analytical and research abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Prior experience in environmental fieldwork, industry, government, or non-profit, is a plus.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the District of Columbia Bar or eligibility for admission.
