Law Firm is Looking for an Associate Attorney - San Francisco Office

Heading 1: Job Opportunity

Law Firm is looking for an Associate Attorney to join their San Francisco office. This is a full-time position with an excellent benefits package and a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $215,000 depending on experience. The successful candidate must have between 2-7 years of experience in wage and hour class action defense in California.

Heading 2: Qualifications

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• 2-7 years of experience in wage and hour class action defense in California
• Be highly motivated and possess excellent writing, analytical and people skills
• Be prepared to work independently and assume significant responsibilities
• Bilingual abilities are a plus
• Must have a California bar license
• Must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice during employment

Heading 3: Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Work directly with employer clients to provide advice and counsel on high-stakes wage and hour matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Review and analysis of discovery responses
• Meaningfully participate in and contribute to overall strategy from case inception to completion
• Take depositions, perform exposure analysis, attend mediations and engage in settlement negotiations
• Speak and publish on class action and PAGA issues
