Since new staff members were just hired, I think it only makes sense to expand management to accommodate the larger staff as well to keep us organized and on track to meet tight deadlines.

One of the key goals for founding partners DiSante, Timothy Freudenberger, and Christopher Carlton was to position the firm as entrepreneurial as their clients' businesses. They wanted to practice as "business people and lawyers rolled into one." Leveraging their experiences as labor and employment law counselors, all with AmLaw 100 firms, they established CDF in Orange County. The firm's first clients included South Coast Plaza, The Vons Companies, and several manufacturers, all of whom remain loyal clients to this day.
CDF began with a small team of six attorneys and five staff members, but its growth has been carefully managed to meet the needs of clients and the state's expanding economy. By 2000, CDF had expanded its reach to include offices in Orange County, San Francisco, Sacramento, San Diego, and Los Angeles. In 2011, attorney Dave Carothers became a name partner, further solidifying the firm's reputation and expertise. Today, CDF is home to over 40 attorneys and 45 staff members, many of whom have been with the firm for more than a decade.
