Job Title: Patent Agent/Technology Specialist - Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering
Experience: At least 3 years of patent prosecution experience
Salary: $160,000 - $180,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications)

Foley Hoag's Intellectual Property Department is seeking a Patent Agent or Technology Specialist with a background in computer science, electrical and computer engineering, or related fields. This position is available in any of our US offices - New York, Boston, DC, or Denver.

Responsibilities:
- Representing a variety of technology companies in patent prosecution matters
- Working with startups to Fortune 500 companies
- Drafting, prosecuting, and conducting diligence on patent matters
- Developing patent strategies

Requirements:
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- At least an . or . in a relevant field, or equivalent industry experience
- Registered patent agent or willingness to take and pass USPTO registration exam within one year of hire
