Experience Information:

Minimum of one year of experience in patent prosecution at a law firm or in-house
Bachelor's degree in science or engineering required
USPTO or bar admission required

Responsibilities:

Draft and prosecute patents with guidance from partners in the IP practice group
Conduct thorough searches for scientific literature, patents, and patent application documents
Analyze and provide insightful opinions on scientific data and compare inventions with existing discoveries
Compose comprehensive patent applications and draft responses to rejections from patent offices
Work with clients to procure patent protection and build IP portfolios

Education and Training:

Bachelor's degree in science or engineering
USPTO or bar admission required
Experience in scientific writing and analyzing abstract concepts and terms
Ability to balance multiple priorities and work effectively in team settings
