This role will be responsible for managing the intake and transfer of all incoming files in a timely and accurate manner. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, paralegal studies, or equivalent professional experience and knowledge of IP laws and regulations. This position offers the opportunity to work with multiple teams and offices, travel up to 25% of the time, and exercise strong organizational and communication skills. H1: Lateral File Intake/Transfer Manager - Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP H2: Responsibilities and Requirements Overview: - Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP is seeking a skilled Lateral File Intake/Transfer Manager. - Responsible for managing the intake and transfer of all incoming files in a timely and accurate manner. - Work closely with multiple teams and offices to ensure consistency. Responsibilities: - Manage the process of all file intakes and file transfers from start to finish. - Collaborate with GC’s office, LPA and local office Director of Administration. - Utilize the Pending Portable Matters chart provided by the GC’s office. - Coordinate with Billing team on client level billing rates and project billing. - Receive, log, and track incoming files and docketing information. - Work with IP Docketing team to monitor pending applications and deadlines. - Assist with preparation of reports and statistics related to file intake. - Create client matter number matrix as necessary. - Ensure proper transfer of client files according to procedures. - Assist with drafting client transfer letters and tracking responses. - Work with IT personnel during transfer process. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in business administration, paralegal studies, or equivalent professional experience. - Knowledge of IP laws, regulations, and docketing procedures. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Exceptional Microsoft Office proficiency. - Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. - Strong written and oral communication skills. - Self-motivated and able to maintain confidentiality. - Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. - Professional demeanor. Salary Information: Exempt (competitive salary based on experience)
