The ideal candidate will be responsible for the collection and organization of documents and information from various cases, relaying messages between various groups, and keeping all documents important to the cases they are working on organized. Key Responsibilities: • Setting up, organizing, and maintaining all relevant case files in an internal database (discovery, pleadings, research, etc.) • Communicate with potential class members to gather information and ensure they meet class certification criteria • Provide information and updates to class members regarding the lawsuit's progress and developments • Conduct legal research to support the attorney in building the case • Reviewing and drafting routine legal documents (contracts, agreements, correspondence, etc.) • Assist in the discovery process (gathering evidence and organizing deposition transcripts), and summarizing the materials for the attorney to review • Prepare trial exhibits, trial binders, and witness lists Skills, Knowledge and Expertise: • • 1 - 3 years of relevant paralegal experience preferred, specifically in class action litigation • Understanding of class action litigation procedures • Strong research and writing skills, including the ability to draft legal documents • Proficient in all Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Outlook, and Teams. • Highly motivated, have a positive attitude, and be a team player.
