Job Overview: A law firm in Washington, DC, seeks a Corporate Investment Funds Regulatory Associate Attorney with at least 3 years of relevant asset management regulatory experience. The ideal candidate should possess a strong working knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the Investment Company Act of 1940, with experience in private equity and hedge fund formation being advantageous.Duties:Provide legal counsel and support on matters related to asset management regulatory compliance.Conduct research and analysis on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.Assist in the structuring, formation, and ongoing compliance of private equity and hedge funds.Draft and review legal documents, including fund formation documents, regulatory filings, and contracts.Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to address legal issues and provide strategic guidance.Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of relevant asset management regulatory experience.Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Washington, DC Bar, or eligibility to waive in.Strong working knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the Investment Company Act of 1940.Experience in private equity and hedge fund formation is preferred.Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Washington, DC Bar, or eligibility to waive in.Skills:Proficiency in legal research and analysis.Strong understanding of asset management regulatory compliance.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
