Vedder Price, a prestigious law firm in New York City, is seeking a Global Transportation Finance Paralegal to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our attorneys, clients, and opposing counsel on high-profile business transactions. Key Responsibilities: • Provide paralegal support to the Global Transportation Finance group • Interact with clients and opposing counsel during business transactions • Assist attorneys with leasing and loan transactions • Manage and coordinate transaction closings • Review and organize due diligence materials and client records • Prepare and distribute post-closing sets and other materials • Draft and proof closing documents, materials, and correspondence • Manage UCC filings and documentation • Handle International Registry filings • Log a target of 1500 billable hours annually Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree required, . preferred • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial lending/asset-based financing and transactional work preferred • Familiarity with UCCs is a plus Skills & Competencies: • Ability to learn quickly and apply training to practical issues • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Able to work independently and in a team environment • Excellent interpersonal skills • Ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite • Willingness to work overtime Compensation Range: $65k - $85k annually Equal Employment Opportunity: At Vedder Price, we value and encourage diversity and are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants.
