Law Firm Our law firm in Washington, . is seeking a lateral associate to join our Business Restructuring & Reorganization team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a mix of creditor, debtor, and distressed acquisition cases for top financial institutions. We have a preference for candidates with NY office experience and a Class of 2016 – 2020 background. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on high profile cases for both creditors and debtors. On the creditor side, you will represent hedge funds, CLOs, private equity funds, and other financial institutions in chapter 11 cases and out of court restructurings. On the debtor side, you will work on high profile chapter 11 cases, including cross-border cases, and out of court restructurings. The annual compensation range for this position is between $310,000 and $435,000. The actual salary offered within this range will depend on your qualifications and other operational considerations. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer benefits such as health care, retirement benefits, paid time off (including sick and vacation time), parental leave, basic life insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, and discretionary, performance-based bonuses. Qualifications for this position include a . degree and admission to the bar in the jurisdiction where you will be working.
