The successful applicant will have a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or physics, and must have at least two years of experience in patent prosecution.

The successful candidate will have experience in patent application preparation and prosecution, as well as a strong understanding of wireless telecommunication standards, signal processing, and computer networking.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or physics
• At least two years of experience in patent prosecution
• Experience with wireless telecommunication standards, signal processing, or computer networking
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work under tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Prepare and prosecute patent applications
• Conduct pre-filing searches and analyze prior art
• Draft patentability, infringement, and validity opinions
• Work on patent related projects and initiatives
• Draft and negotiate patent licenses and other related agreements
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients
• Participate in client meetings
