Law Firm Seeking Commercial Finance Associate Thompson Coburn, a leading law firm in the commercial finance industry, is currently seeking a highly experienced attorney to join our team. This position is open in multiple locations, including Chicago, Dallas, St. Louis, and Washington . We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of experience in drafting, negotiating, and closing commercial lending transactions. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of issues related to Article 9 secured transactions and significant experience in drafting and negotiating intercreditor agreements. If you have experience with tax-advantaged financing, tax credits, real estate, or mergers and acquisitions, that is a plus, but not required. Join Our Dynamic Commercial Finance Practice At Thompson Coburn, our commercial finance practice is vibrant and diverse. We specialize in tax-credit subsidized equity and debt financings, with a focus on multi-faceted transactions involving public/private partnerships. These deals often involve multiple sources of debt financing and multiple equity investors. As a Commercial Finance Associate, you will play an active role in the documentation, management, and closing of these transactions. You will work closely with all parties involved, including banks, financial institutions, private equity firms, state and local governments, and their respective counsel.
