Job Description:

- Immediate opening for a Senior Associate with 5-7 years' experience in Corporate/M&A at a prestigious law firm in New York.
- Private equity experience is required for this role.
- The candidate should have a strong background in sophisticated transactional work, including domestic and cross-border purchase and sale transactions, strategic mergers, leveraged buy outs, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, and corporate governance advice.
- Excellent academic credentials and interpersonal skills are a must for this position.
- The successful candidate will work closely with the Corporate Transactions & Securities department and will have the opportunity to handle a variety of complex and high-profile transactions.
- This role offers a competitive salary range of $180,000 - $250,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

- Handle all aspects of corporate and M&A transactions, including drafting and negotiating agreements, conducting due diligence, and advising clients on corporate governance matters.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and team members to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations related to corporate and M&A transactions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
- Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and provide guidance on complex legal matters.

Requirements:

- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in the state of New York.
- 5-7 years of experience in corporate and M&A at a top-tier law firm.
- Private equity experience is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of corporate and M&A laws and regulations.
- Excellent drafting, negotiating, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
- Proven track record of providing high-quality legal services to clients.
