Law Firm is looking for a Class Action Associate Attorney to join its growing class action group. The Class Action Associate Attorney will help handle a complex caseload of federal and state cases related to unfair business practices, consumer protection and privacy statues.

H1: Law Firm is Seeking Class Action Associate Attorney

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of state and federal class action cases in various stages
• Investigation, drafting and filing of litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions, and memoranda
• Guiding clients through the case process
• Interacting with expert witnesses, including preparation of expert reports and affidavits
• Preparing for and attending depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances

H2: Qualifications

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school
• An active member in good standing with a State Bar
• Litigation experience, including trial, deposition, and motions experience in technical, complex cases, ideally on behalf of plaintiffs
• Exceptional research skills
• Trial court or appellate Clerkship experience preferred
• Law review experience preferred
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills with a close attention to detail
