Duties:

• Investigate potential class action cases
• Draft pleadings, briefs, motions, and other legal documents
• Manage discovery processes
• Meet and confer with opposing counsel
• Take and defend depositions
• Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations
• Attend hearings and court appearances
• Communicate regularly with clients
• Provide support on various tasks as assigned by senior attorneys

Requirements:

• 5 years of litigation experience
• Prior experience in class action litigation, particularly on the plaintiff side, is preferred
• Strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Ability to effectively solve problems in deadline-driven environments
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and in a team
• Passion for public interest law and class action litigation

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with a state bar (preferably . or a reciprocal jurisdiction)

Skills:

• Expertise in litigation, particularly class action cases
• Strong legal research and writing abilities
• Excellent oral communication and negotiation skills
• Experience with discovery management and deposition procedures
