This full-time position is available at their San Diego and San Francisco locations. The Senior Litigation & E-Discovery Services Analyst will provide support and administration for litigation technology, applications, and systems as part of the LEDS department. This role will also assist with vendor management and provide guidance to LEDS team members across the firm. Position Responsibilities: - Support firm litigation attorneys, E-Discovery attorneys, and legal teams with all aspects of litigation support from case inception through trial - Design and maintain litigation databases for data management, review, production, and analysis - Coordinate and handle requests for new or modified databases using litigation applications - Provide technical support and advice related to litigation technology and electronic discovery - Work with E-Discovery attorneys and legal teams to execute document indexes and perform keyword searches - Conduct quality control procedures for document productions - Stay current on e-discovery and litigation support technology - Participate in management of litigation support and E-Discovery vendor relationships - Train legal teams on the use of litigation support systems and applications - Maintain documentation of work performed on litigation related client data - Troubleshoot issues with litigation teams, systems, and processes - Adhere to firm-wide client/matter data classification and management standards - Communicate with and provide back-up support to LEDS colleagues in other offices - Expectation to bill time on an hourly basis - Ensure accurate and timely entry of billable and non-billable time Skills and Experience: - 6+ years of experience in litigation and e-discovery services - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, iManage, and other firm applications - Familiarity with standard computer equipment and software interaction with network systems and business applications - Thorough understanding of relational databases, litigation support software, and technology - Experience with litigation preparedness and response, including electronic discovery - Technical knowledge of and experience with information technology tools and standards for enterprise information management - Familiarity with electronic discovery and risk management issues and concepts Competencies: - Ability to work independently and under pressure - Strong multitasking abilities - Creative and entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving and process improvement - Strong analytical and project management skills - Flexible and agile, able to adapt to changes in business priorities - Strong initiative and a get-it-done attitude - Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and management skills - Customer service oriented with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks based on client needs Cooley offers a competitive compensation and benefits package and is committed to fair and equitable employment practices.
