The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of relevant experience and be admitted to practice in either DC or MA. This position will involve assisting clients with development of information governance programs, providing guidance on a variety of domestic and global information governance issues, and conducting IG maturity assessments.

Responsibilities:

- Develop information governance programs for clients, including drafting policies and procedures, preparing retention schedules, and supporting program implementation
- Provide guidance on domestic and global information governance issues, such as litigation preparedness and defensible disposition
- Conduct IG maturity assessments, analyze results, and develop risk mitigation strategies
- Stay updated on legislative, regulatory, and enforcement activities related to data management practices
- Coordinate global and domestic regulatory assessments, including overseeing international counsel and summarizing findings
- Review and revise data flows, sales FAQs, and marketing collateral for technology solutions
- Customize and present IG training for various business audiences

Requirements:

- Excellent academic credentials, analytical skills, and written and verbal communication abilities
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
