Multifamily Paralegal

Multifamily Paralegal - Must have experience with commercial real estate transactions involving title and survey review. Full-time position with a competitive salary range of $70,000-$90,000.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough title and survey review for commercial real estate loans, including Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac.
- Stay up-to-date on commercial real estate lending guidelines.
- Perform paralegal duties as directed by the group leader and other attorneys.
- Meet loan closing deadlines.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines governing the practice of law.
- Maintain the firm's official file using our document management system.
- Track and record client-billable time to meet minimum billable hour requirements.
- Prioritize work and communicate any challenges in meeting daily responsibilities.
- Keep track of both billable and non-billable work.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Experience with American Land Title Association, ALTA/NSPS, and commercial title and survey.
- Strong organizational and writing skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and across practice groups and offices.
- Ability to follow complex instructions and handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Self-starter with excellent communication skills.
- Professionalism and discretion in completing tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage a large workload and provide quality service to both internal and external clients.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or a combination of education and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the job duties.
- Minimum of two years of experience with commercial real estate transactions, specifically title and survey.
- Experience with Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac preferred.
- Law firm or title company experience preferred.
