A law firm is seeking a Junior-Mid Level Benefits Associate Attorney for their office in Madison, WI. The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of benefits experience in private practice, including expertise in qualified retirement plans, health & welfare plans, and executive & deferred compensation arrangements. Supporting benefits and compensation in M&A, ERISA litigation, and withdrawal liability experience is a plus. The candidate must be detail-oriented and possess excellent writing, oral advocacy, communication, and legal analysis skills.

Duties:

• Provide legal support and counsel on a range of benefits and compensation matters.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various benefit plan documents, agreements, and disclosures.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex benefits and compensation issues.
• Assist in benefits-related aspects of mergers and acquisitions, ERISA litigation, and withdrawal liability matters.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to provide comprehensive legal advice and solutions.

Requirements:
