Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Attorney
The candidate will work in a highly collaborative, team environment to provide legal counsel to organizations investigating and responding to data privacy and cybersecurity incidents. Collect information needed to understand the issue and scope of each event, engage and direct experts needed to appropriately investigate and respond to the incident, and communicate to regulatory bodies, law enforcement agencies, and other third-parties as needed while advising clients throughout the investigation. Analyze the legal and regulatory framework applicable to the organization and incident and support the organization’s disclosure and documentation of its impact by the event. Must have 2-8 years of legal practice experience, with preference given to those who have data privacy, healthcare, and regulatory compliance experience. Should preferably have membership in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar, a curiosity to learn more about cybersecurity law, and an enthusiastic and team-oriented attitude. Exceptional analytic, writing, communication, and preparation skills, plus focused attention to detail are key to performing well in our highly responsive environment. Should demonstrate initiative and the ability to independently maintain their own caseload.
