Job Summary:

The Century City office of Kirkland & Ellis, a top global law firm, is seeking a highly motivated and organized Corporate Practice Assistant to support a team of attorneys. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and format legal documents, spreadsheets, and presentations using the Firm's software
- Proofread and correct formatting inconsistencies in all materials
- Transcribe dictation and meeting minutes
- Conduct internet research as directed by attorneys
- Process conflict checks and new client/new matter forms
- Enter attorney time and process expense reports
- Receive, screen, and place telephone calls
- Coordinate and schedule travel arrangements
- Maintain paper and electronic files in compliance with Firm policies
- Prioritize workload to facilitate team effort and meet Firm and client goals
- Foster professional and supportive relationships with colleagues and clients
- Exhibit professionalism and adhere to Firm policies and confidentiality requirements

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of administrative experience
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Adobe Acrobat DC, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to work core business hours with flexibility for overtime as needed

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position in a professional office environment.
