- Prepare and file premerger notification filings under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act (HSR filings)
- Coordinate with Davis Polk deal teams and clients to gather information and complete HSR filings
- Supervise attorneys and provide guidance on HSR filing process
- Conduct analyses to determine the need for HSR filings
- Develop and maintain practice group resources, including standard forms and templates
- Assist with client presentations and business development initiatives
- Coordinate training programs for the Antitrust & Competition practice group
- Update internal and public websites to reflect changes in applicable laws and regulations
- Manage and update precedent resources for the Antitrust & Competition group
- Collaborate with attorneys to develop and promote client training programs and other client communications
- Organize and deliver training programs for the Antitrust & Competition group and other firm-wide initiatives
- Work with Professional Development team to promote the work of the group within the firm
- JD required with at least 4 years of experience as a practicing attorney in a law firm
- Basic knowledge of antitrust and competition law and familiarity with HSR filing process
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other offices and staff

With offices in both New York and Washington, DC, Davis Polk is a leading law firm seeking an experienced attorney to join our team as an HSR Specialist & Practice Resources Associate. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, including premerger notification filings under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act, developing and maintaining practice group resources, and coordinating training programs for the Antitrust & Competition practice group.

As an HSR Specialist, your responsibilities will include preparing and filing HSR filings, coordinating with deal teams and clients, and conducting analyses to determine the need for HSR filings. You will also have the opportunity to supervise attorneys and provide guidance on the HSR filing process.

In addition to your role as an HSR Specialist, you will also serve as a Practice Resources Associate, working on various tasks related to the Antitrust & Competition practice group. This may include updating internal and public websites, managing and updating precedent resources, and collaborating with attorneys to develop and promote client training programs and other client communications.

To be successful in this role, we are seeking candidates with a JD and at least four years of experience as a practicing attorney in a law firm. A basic knowledge of antitrust and competition law and familiarity with the HSR filing process is also required. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively with other offices and staff. Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire confidence among associates and firm leaders are also important for this role.
