In this role, you will support our attorneys in managing a diverse caseload, with a specific focus on matters related to senior care. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in litigation, to advance their career and make a meaningful impact in the legal field. Responsibilities • Process guardianship matters in accordance with legal requirements and procedures. • Assist attorneys in the areas of civil litigation, DHS medical assistance, and estate work. • Schedule hearings, depositions, and other court-related events. • Assist in hearing preparation, including organizing exhibits. • Conduct thorough legal research and analyze case law, statutes, and regulations. • Organize and maintain case files, exhibits, and other relevant documents. • Assist in drafting and reviewing legal correspondence and contracts. • Coordinate and manage document production. • Stay updated on relevant legal developments and changes in court rules and procedures. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal. Litigation experience preferred. • Strong knowledge of legal concepts, procedures, and terminology. • Proficiency in legal research platforms and case management software. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work product. • Effective written and verbal communication skills. • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. • Familiarity with electronic filing systems and e-discovery processes.
