The Denver office of Sherman & Howard is seeking a Senior Associate for their labor and employment department. This is a highly regarded national law firm with a strong presence in Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico. As a Senior Associate in the labor and employment department, you will have the opportunity to represent management in all aspects of the employment relationship. This includes advising clients on labor laws and regulations, managing cases involving workplace safety, employee leave, workplace harassment, discrimination, and more. This is a dynamic role that requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and exemplary client service skills.

Position Responsibilities:
- Interpret and advise clients on labor laws and regulations
- Manage cases involving wage and hour matters, workplace safety, disability, employee leave, workplace harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, etc.
- Draft and review employment agreements, contracts, company policies, and employee handbooks
- Collaborate with in-house counsel, human resource professionals, and managers at companies of all sizes

Requirements:
- . from an ABA accredited school
- 4+ years of experience as a labor & employment attorney
- Admitted to practice in Colorado or able to be waived in
- Significant experience in traditional labor and/or wage and hour matters
- Strong work ethic, entrepreneurial attitude, high level of attention to detail, and exemplary client service skills
- Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
