Law Firm Seeks Government Contracts Associate in Various Locations

The Chambers-ranked Government Contracts group at McCarter and English is seeking a dynamic and experienced associate to join our team in various locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bid protests, cybersecurity, acquisition regulation compliance, and federal subcontracting. They should also have experience with multiple award contracts and small business procurement. We are looking for intellectually curious self-starters with a commitment to partnership and a drive for written and oral "thought leadership" and client development. Litigators with experience in aerospace/defense, infrastructure/construction, life sciences/pharmaceutical, or manufacturing industries are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Analyzing and writing on bid protests, cybersecurity, and acquisition regulation compliance
- Drafting REAs and claims, related claims analysis and counseling, and CDA claim litigation
- Handling federal subcontracting and related dispute and flow-down/compliance issues
- Working independently on certain matters as needed
- Contributing to thought leadership and client development
- Potential for partnership

Requirements:
- 4-5 years of experience in a law firm setting
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Knowledge of FAR and DFARS compliance
- Experience with multiple award contracts and small business procurement
- Strong academic background
- Virginia State Bar admission preferred
