Sr Paralegal

DLA Piper is seeking a highly talented Sr. Paralegal to join our team and provide exceptional client service. The Sr. Paralegal will be responsible for researching, preparing, and filing legal documents, managing data rooms, and matter files, and coordinating execution and delivery of documentation to other parties’ counsel, lenders, and governmental agencies. This position is remote and relocation is available according to the Firm's policy.


Responsibilities:

Research, prepare, and file legal documents, such as UCC Financing Statements, Articles of Incorporation/Organization, amendments, state qualifications, consents, merger documents, closing books, electronic closing sets, initial drafts or certificates, short-form closing deliverables, and filing annual reports
Manage data rooms and matter files on document management systems
Coordinate execution and delivery of documentation to other parties’ counsel, lenders, governmental agencies, etc.
Develop, monitor, and update closing and other checklists
Provide other paralegal services as necessary


Minimum Requirements:


6 years’ Paralegal experience supporting a Finance practice group in a law firm or professional services environment
Experience managing data rooms and matter files on document management systems
Detail-oriented and self-motivated
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of work


Preferred Requirements:

Blue Sky experience
Experience preparing and filing a variety of corporate legal documents
Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Large firm experience


Compensation
In accordance with New York City, California, and Washington’s Pay Transparency Law, the pay range for this position, if hired to work in New York City, California or Washington is $95k-$130k. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate’s geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience and overall qualifications.
