# Client Intake Specialist at Law Firm

Law firm mctlaw is hiring a full-time Client Intake Specialist to join their downtown Sarasota office. The right candidate for this entry-level position must have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to lead a conversation to get relevant information from potential clients, and the ability to discuss complex medical issues with potential clients.

## Responsibilities

The Client Intake Specialist will be the client’s first point of contact with mctlaw and their responsibilities include:

* Quickly responding and communicating with potential clients via phone, email, chat, and text
* Qualifying potential clients with an in-depth screening interview based on case criteria
* Discussing potential client qualifications with attorneys
* Setting appointments for follow-up communication
* Opening and maintaining detailed client intake files
* Requesting, receiving, and reviewing medical records
* Conducting consistent follow-ups with potential clients
* Retaining qualified clients (this requires some sales skills)

## Qualifications

To be considered for the position, the ideal candidate should have:

* A college degree or equivalent work experience
* The ability to quickly master new technology
* An understanding of medical issues that impact clients
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Mac OS
* Customer service, sales, or legal experience (a plus)
