## Defense Litigation - Mass Torts Associate (Toxic Tort)

Law Firm is seeking an experienced associate to join their national Mass Torts and Industry-Wide Litigation team in their NYC office. The ideal candidate should have 4-6+ years of chemical exposure/toxic tort case experience, be admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey (or have the ability to waive into NJ), and have meaningful state and federal experience. The associate will be responsible for researching various issues and collaborating with senior attorneys, managing discovery and e-discovery, drafting reports to clients, pleadings, motions, etc., and representing clients in courtroom appearances.

The successful candidate should have superior writing skills, excellent oral communication skills, strong deposition, motion, pleading, and e-discovery experience, be highly organized and detail-oriented, and possess excellent research skills. Additionally, they should be a quick learner who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, team environment, maintain high standards of performance, and have a professional, cooperative, positive and flexible attitude.
