Are you a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of the legal industry? Do you have experience as a legal assistant and a desire to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment? Holland & Hart, a premier law firm, is currently seeking a Legal Assistant to join our Real Estate, Development, and Finance Practice Group.

As a Legal Assistant, you will provide advanced legal and administrative support to attorneys, paralegals, and other colleagues as needed. Your duties may vary depending on the location and practice group, but you will play a vital role in supporting the team and ensuring efficient operations.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

- Understand the specific needs and business of the Real Estate, Development, and Finance Practice Group
- Manage the business intake process, including running adversary searches, drafting screening memos and engagement letters, and opening new files
- Prepare, revise, and format legal documents and correspondence using various software applications
- Proofread documents for content, spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Transcribe digital audio files to create written transcripts
- File documents electronically with federal and state courts and other agencies
- Manage incoming and outgoing communication, including phone calls, mail, hand deliveries, and emails
- Maintain and manage attorney/paralegal calendars
- Assist with in-office tasks, projects, overflow work, and other administrative duties
- Navigate workflow technology and partner with central team for maximum efficiency
- Proactively support the team and demonstrate a positive and collaborative approach
- Serve as a resource to teammates
- Manage logistics for internal and external meetings
- Liaise with courts as needed

To be successful in this role, you should have a high school education with at least 4 years of legal assistant experience or 2 years of legal assistant training and 2 years of experience. You should also have advanced legal assistant skills, including accurate typing, working knowledge of personal computers, and proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. Strong knowledge of iManage, iCompli, Intapp, Chrome River, Expert Time, and CompuLaw is preferred, as well as knowledge of federal, state, and local court rules.

In addition, we are looking for candidates with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and the ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team. You should also have excellent judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills and be able to handle a variety of responsibilities under general supervision.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

- Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to manipulate weights of at least 10 pounds
- Repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on a computer
- Clear and concise speech
- Ability to understand the speech of another person

This position may require occasional off-hour meetings and events.
