# Senior Banking Associate at Moses Singer Law Firm

Moses Singer is a mid-sized NYC law firm with a nationally recognized banking practice that is seeking a highly qualified lawyer with five to seven years’ experience in banking transactions. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the UCC and Bankruptcy Code and be experienced in drafting, negotiating, and closing domestic and international financing transactions. Experience in trade finance or fund finance is also a plus.

## Job Description

The Senior Banking Associate will be responsible for working on lending, letter of credit and other transactions for financial institutions. This will involve drafting, negotiating and closing domestic and international financing transactions (both syndicated and bilateral, secured, and unsecured). The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of the UCC and Bankruptcy Code and experience in trade finance or fund finance (., lending against capital commitments or subscriptions for capital).

## Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

- 5-7 years’ experience in banking transactions
- Extensive experience in drafting, negotiating, and closing domestic and international financing transactions (both syndicated and bilateral, secured, and unsecured)
- Strong knowledge of the UCC and Bankruptcy Code
- Experience in trade finance or fund finance (., lending against capital commitments or subscriptions for capital) is a plus

## Salary

The anticipated compensation range for this position is $180,000 - $205,000. The actual salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors, including, but not limited to, job experience, familiarity with and experience in the legal industry, skillset and other requirements as set forth on the job description. To the extent applicable, please note that the salary range does not include health, life, or other employer-provided insurance; paid or unpaid time off, such as sick or vacation days, leaves of absence; contributions toward retirement or savings funds, such as 401(k) plans; commission; equity; or bonuses.
