As a Practice Support Team Specialist, you will provide administrative support to attorneys in our Education Practice Group. This includes managing multiple projects and priorities, coordinating schedules, preparing legal documents, and assisting with accounting and billing functions. In addition, you will work collaboratively with a team of specialists, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to attorneys in the Education Practice Group, including managing workflow, coordinating schedules, and preparing legal documents Assist with accounting and billing functions, including client billing, matter budgeting, and alternative fee arrangements Process new client and matter intake, including conflict checks and opening new files Coordinate mail and courier services, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of communications Maintain attorney contacts and track CLE and membership requirements Work collaboratively with a team of specialists, effectively communicating and sharing knowledge and resources Utilize team software to log and manage workflow Demonstrate proficiency in Education law, including e-filing, calendar coordination, and document edits Position Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year degree preferred 3-5 years of legal support experience with a heavy focus on Education law Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm Strong proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Previous transcription experience preferred Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary based on skills, experience, and location Discretionary bonus opportunities based on individual and firm performance Comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental coverage, life insurance, and disability insurance Pre-tax flexible spending account for medical and dependent care expenses Employee assistance program Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan program eligibility after meeting requirements The above is a summary of the position and its requirements.
