Aldridge Pite, LLP, a multi-state law firm, is seeking a remote Legal Assistant to join our team. Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to provide legal support and administration to lawyers and other legal professionals in the firm's practice of representing financial institutions in bankruptcy, foreclosure, residential real estate, and mortgage law. The Legal Assistant position is non-exempt and may require overtime.

Salary Information:

Job Title: Legal Assistant - Remote
Experience: At least 2 years as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal

H2: Key Responsibilities

• Process assigned tasks according to firm procedures and client requirements
• Handle collateral document oversight for west coast teams
• Draft legal documents and correspondence
• Communicate with courts, title vendors, and other third parties
• Handle service and firm transfer tasks
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, investor, and client requirements
• Prepare files for client audits
• Maintain state, court, and client rules in reference matrices
• Assist with additional tasks or projects as needed

H2: Job Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• At least 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal
• Judicial foreclosure experience highly preferred
• Knowledge of multi-state legal and/or foreclosure processes preferred
