Job Title:

Experience:
- At least 4-5 years of experience
- Preferably in a law firm setting

Responsibilities:
- Handling bid protests
- Assisting with cybersecurity matters
- Ensuring compliance with acquisition regulations (including FAR and DFARS)
- Drafting REAs and claims, analyzing related claims and providing counsel
- Litigating CDA claims
- Handling federal subcontracting and related disputes
- Advising on flow-down and compliance issues
- Assisting with multiple award contracts
- Providing counsel on small business procurement matters

Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Intellectually curious and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently on certain matters
- Experience in aerospace/defense, infrastructure/construction, life sciences/pharmaceutical, and/or manufacturing industries preferred
- Strong academic background
- Commitment to rise to partnership
- Interest in written and oral “thought leadership” and client development
- Virginia State Bar admission highly preferred

Location:
- Flexible across McCarter and English's offices in Boston, East Brunswick, Hartford, Indianapolis, Miami, New York, Newark, Philadelphia, Stamford, Trenton, Washington, DC, and Wilmington
